From the Principal Control Panel

The year Twenty Fourteen was a inspiring journey to Jungshina Primary School providing complete service in the school and community to the best of my ability with the vision “Nationally Rooted, Globally Competent”. Though it was a challenging journey for seven years, with the full support of the experienced and energetic teachers and the community, I could take the school to a level called success. In addition to the list of success stories I would like to present the much-awaited school website to our beloved readers and showcase the developmental stages of the Jungshina Primary school. It is the first of its kind and a historic events for the school. Indeed Jungshina primary school has become centre for learning in the community and truly a “temple of only learning” for entire children from Pamtsho,Jungshina,Hejo,Samtenling,Dechen Phodrang and Langjophakha. Children come not only for quantify academic excellence but to learn the values and to be good human being. Therefore, we teachers are playing enormous role in molding future citizens to produce dynamic leaders by instilling Bhutanese values like Driglam Namzha, life skills Education and GNH value. Venerable Jamyang Khentse Rimpoche rightly said that “As Bhutan develops, as it meets modernity, there are so many areas it can contribute. For example, Gross National Happiness. An idea that has generated great interest in the world. Because there are two kinds of happiness: one based on material comfort and pleasures; the other on inner contentment and peace. And I think Bhutan can provide the latter, based on Buddhist principles. Material happiness is often very expensive and doesn’t satisfy us. If it’s based on deeper inner peace and contentment, then even when you face difficulties, you can overcome them”. Alongside these line, we should be reminded always to dedicate and rededicate ourselves to Tsa Wa Sum and most importantly be ever grateful to our Monarchs for all the peace and prosperity we embrace now.
