GPS TRAINING FOR SCHOOL LEADERS

GPS Training for School Leaders

On August 26th, a group of teachers organized GPS training session for about thirty-two school leaders at Jungshina Primary School. The main goal of this training was to help these school leaders learn important skills that can save lives, especially when knowing where someone is matters a lot.

During the training, students were taught how to use different apps that can find where someone is, like geo trackers, Google Maps, and Google Earth. They learned about five different apps during the session. For example, they were shown how to use tools that can track where their friends and family are. They also learned how to get location information using tools like Google Earth and GPS.

The students also learned how to calculate time. They were given practical tasks to practice search and rescue activities.

The school was kind enough to provide snacks and drinks for everyone who took part in the training. The training lasted for five hours and was a big success. Both teachers and students learned a lot and gained important skills.
