Value Education

Jungshina Primary School recently celebrated its Value Education Week on the 7th and 8th of March 2024 with great enthusiasm. During this special occasion, both students and teachers actively participated, creating a vibrant atmosphere of learning and cultural exploration. The school community was organized into seven groups to facilitate the distribution of value education topics at different levels.

Mr. Yonten Jamtsho, the Driglam Namzha coordinator, played a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the event. He efficiently distributed the value education topics to each group, fostering a deeper understanding of Bhutanese culture and its inherent values. The two-day event proved to be a bustling period of engagement, with students and teachers alike expressing keen interest and active involvement in various activities and discussions.

The Value Education Week served as a valuable platform for students to connect with and appreciate Bhutanese culture. It was evident that both the young learners and educators embraced the opportunity to explore and internalize the rich values embedded in their cultural heritage. Overall, the event not only strengthened the sense of community within Jungshina Primary School but also contributed significantly to the promotion of Bhutanese values among the students.
