After the refreshing mid-term break, Jungshina Primary School warmly welcomed students back through its WOW Weeks 2026, a three-day programme designed to help students settle comfortably into school life and begin the second half of the academic year with renewed energy, confidence, and enthusiasm.
The programme focused on students’ physical, emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing while reinforcing positive values and strengthening relationships within the school community.
Students reconnected with their classmates and teachers by sharing their mid-term break experiences during mentor-mentee sessions, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Reading follow-up activities encouraged students to continue developing their literacy skills, while exciting tug-of-war and volleyball matches promoted teamwork, cooperation, and healthy competition.
Throughout the programme, students also participated in anti-bullying awareness sessions, health and wellbeing talks, and educational movie screenings that reinforced kindness, empathy, respect, and responsible behaviour. These activities reminded students of the importance of creating a safe and inclusive learning environment where everyone feels valued and respected.
The final day featured a spiritual talk that encouraged mindfulness, gratitude, and compassion, helping students reflect on their goals and responsibilities for the remainder of the school year. Teachers also participated in professional development and sports activities, strengthening collaboration and fostering a positive school culture.
WOW Weeks 2026 successfully prepared students for a smooth transition back to school after the mid-term break. The programme not only refreshed their minds and bodies but also inspired them to embrace the second half of the academic year with confidence, resilience, and a positive attitude.
Jungshina Primary School remains committed to providing a nurturing learning environment where every child feels safe, supported, and motivated to achieve their full potential
